Happy Jay:  According to TSN's Scott MacArthur and multiple reports, the Toronto Blue Jays and MVP Josh Donaldson agreed to terms on a two-year, $29 million contract last night. The deal means the two sides will avoid a salary arbitration hearing that was set for next Monday.

Catching Fire:  Sidney Crosby scored two goals and two assists last night as the Pittsburgh Penguins dumped the Anaheim Ducks 6-2. In Ottawa, Mark Stone had two goals and an assist as the Ottawa Senators cruised past the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-1.

Owning Motown:  The Toronto Raptors earned their 14th win in 15 starts by beating the Detroit Pistons 103-89. Kyle Lowry led the way with 25 points.
