MELBOURNE, Australia - Canadian Daniel Nestor will play for his second career Australian Open men's doubles title.

The Toronto native and his doubles partner Radek Stepanek dispatched Pablo Cuevas and Marcel Granollers 7-6 (11), 6-4 in semifinal action at the grand slam tournament on Thursday.

The match took one hour 42 minutes.

Nestor and Stepanek will play Andy Murray's older brother Jamie Murray and his partner Bruno Soares in the final.

Nestor's only other Australian Open men's doubles title came in 2002, when he and Mark Knowles defeated French pair Michael Llodra and Fabrice Santoro in straight sets.

Nestor also has three mixed doubles titles at the Australian Open — in 2007 with Elena Likhovtseva, 2011 with Katarina Srebotnik, and 2014 with Kristina Mladenovic.
