Justin Gilbert - CB - Oklahoma State

Justin Gilbert

Height: 6'0 | Weight: 200 | Status: Senior

While reports suggest Dennard is considered the better pure corner option in this year’s draft, Gilbert gets points for his playmaking ability, both on defence and special teams as a return man.

Mike Evans - WR - Texas A&M

Mike Evans

Height: 6'5 | Weight: 225 | Status: Redshirt Sophomore

Evans doesn’t have a ton of football experience and the knock on him is his below average route running. But Johnny Manziel’s favourite target at College Station has all the measurables teams are looking for.

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix - S - Alabama

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix

Height: 6'1 | Weight: 208 | Status: Junior

The early word on Clinton-Dix is the safety has all the tools to play the pass at the next level, but needs to work on stopping the run, primarily gaining strength and shedding blockers.

C.J. Mosley - ILB - Alabama

C.J. Mosley

Height: 6'2 | Weight: 232 | Status: Senior

Alabama coaches loved Mosley as a leader on and off the field who loved football. His draft grade has slipped a little in the early going and that may have to do with injury concerns.

Cyrus Kouandjio - OT - Alabama

Cyrus Kouandjio

Height: 6'6 | Weight: 310 | Status: Junior

Kouandjio has all the measureables of a left tackle and compares well to former teammate DJ Fluker (11th overall last year). The sheer amount of quality tackles in this draft may be all that pushes his stock down.

Timmy Jernigan - DT - Florida State

Timmy Jernigan

Height: 6'2 | Weight: 298 | Status: Junior

Jernigan’s draft stock continues to rise in the early going. The junior considers himself the most versatile defensive lineman in the draft and may be right.

Louis Nix - DT - Notre Dame

Louis Nix III

Height: 6'3 | Weight: 357 | Status: Senior

If Jernigan's the most versatile DT, Nix may be the most one-dimensional. But what he does, he does well. Nix is the prototypical NT but needs to show he can stay healthy and his heart is in football.

Kelvin Benjamin - WR - Florida State

Kelvin Benjamin

Height: 6'5 | Weight: 242 | Status: Redshirt Sophomore

Benjamin’s measurables are off the charts but reports suggest he’s raw, to the point where he could be considered a project, thus the lukewarm draft stock for a player his size and skill.

Calvin Pryor - S - Louisville

Calvin Pryor

Height: 6'2 | Weight: 208 | Status: Junior

Pryor finished last season as low as a second rounder on some mocks but is steadily climbing to the point where he could be taken mid-first round. Reports suggest he’s a more complete safety than Clinton-Dix.

Zack Martin - OT - Notre Dame

Zack Martin

Height: 6'4 | Weight: 308 | Status: Senior

Martin played tackle at Notre Dame but has worked both inside and outside in pre-draft workouts. Scouts believe because of his limitations his best position in the NFL is likely at guard.

2014 NFL Draft

The Houston Texans selected defensive end Jadeveon Clowney first overall in the 2014 NFL Draft.
