The current rankings are based on projected starters for this season. Position battles and injuries in training camp will bring plenty of change and the rankings will be updated accordingly.

Rank Team Projected Starters

1

J. Staley - M. Iupati - J. Goodwin - A. Boone - A. Davis

An extremely dominant physical line that will have all five starters returning.

2

N. Solder - L. Mankins - R. Wendell - D. Connolly - S. Vollmer

Very solid unit, despite questions at right guard. Marcus Cannon could step in.

3

R. Clady - Z. Beadles - M. Ramirez* - L. Vasquez* -  O. Franklin

Even mutiple injuries at centre can't stop this group from succeeding.

4

D. Penn - C. Nicks - J. Zuttah - D. Joseph - D. Dotson

Should breakout in 2013 after injuries to elite guard duo of Nicks and Joseph hurt them in 2012.

5

J. Thomas - J. Greco*- A. Mack - S. Lauvao - M. Schwartz

An excelent young line anchored by Thomas. Lauvao's ankle injury could be an issue.

6

J. Peters - E. Mathis - J. Kelce* - T. Herremans - L. Johnson*

If injuries weren't an issue, the Eagles would have a top three offensive line.

7

M. Kalil - C. Johnson - J. Sullivan - B. Fusco - P. Loadholt

Went from a bottom ranked unit in 2011, all the way into the top ten in 2012.

8

B. McKinnie - K. Osemele - G. Gradkowski* - M. Yanda - M. Oher

The Super Bowl champs are hoping Gradkowski can fill the hole left by veteran Matt Birk.

9

A. Whitworth - C. Boling - K. Cook* - K. Zeitler - A. Smith

One of the best sets of tackles in the league, their only true weakness lies at centre.

10

D. Ferguson - W. Colon* - N. Mangold - B. Winters* - A. Howard

This tenacious front five excels in run blocking led by Ferguson and Mangold.

11

M. Roos - A. Levitre* - F. Velasco - C. Warmack* - D. Stewart

Their ranking is based on a series of off-season moves, acquiring Levitre and Warmack.

12

W. Beatty - K. Boothe - D. Baas - C. Snee - D. Diehl

Underrated group that excels in run blocking. First round pick Pugh may serve as backup.

13

D. Brown - W. Smith - B. Myers - B. Jones -D. Newton

The Texans have a stable unit, but they are still searching for a reliable right tackle.

14

C. Brown* - B. Grubbs - B. La Puente - J. Evans - Z. Strief

A talented band of blockers that will need Brown to replace former starter Bushrod.

15

B. Albert - J. Allen - R. Hudson* - J. Asamoah - E. Fisher*

Potential is there with this pack, they just need time to come together as a group.

16

T. Williams - K. Lichtensteiger - W. Montgomery - C. Chester -T. Polumbus

Benefitted from good health in 2012, with only one missed game by their starters.

17

R. Okung - P.McQuistan - M. Unger - J. Sweezy* - B. Giacomini

Tom Cable will get the most out of his crew, especially if they can stay healthy.

18

J. Long* - S. Smith* - S. Wells - H. Dahl - R. Saffold

Long can be a difference maker, but their left guard situation is worrisome.

19

M. Adams - R. Foster - M. Pouncey - D. DeCastro - M. Gilbert

The Steelers are hoping their young squad gels with the return of a healthy DeCastro.

20

E. Monroe - W. Rackley* - B. Meester - U. Nwaneri - L. Joeckel*

With Monroe and Joeckel on the edges, the interior of the line is the only area of concern.

21

A. Castonzo - D. Thomas* - S. Satele - M.McGlynn* - G. Cherlius*

The Colts made it their mission to revamp their line, but will it show in 2013?

22

D. Bakhtiari* - J. Sitton - E. Dietrich-Smith* - T. Lang - M. Newhouse*

With Bulaga lost for the year, Aaron Rodgers' blindside protection is a major issue.

23

J. Martin - R. Incognito - M. Pouncey - J. Jerry* - T. Clabo*

The Dolphins have a lot riding on Martin being able to fill in for the departed Jake Long.

24

L. Brown - J. Cooper* - L. Sendlein - D. Colledge - E. Winston

The Cardinals' line gets an infusion of talent with rookie Cooper and veteran Winston.

25

C. Glenn - C. Brown* - E. Wood - K. Urpik - E. Pears

The Bills will desperately miss Levitre at left guard as they transition to a faster tempo.

26

J. Bushrod* - M. Slauson* - R. Garza - K. Long* - J. Webb

While this group lacks stars, they should be a definite upgrade over last season.

27

R. Reiff* - R. Sims - D. Raiola - D. Gandy* - J. Fox*

Major question marks on the right side could spell trouble in Detroit.

28

S. Baker - J. Blalock - P. Konz* - G. Reynolds - M. Johnson*

The Falcons have stars at every skill position, but are lacking on their offensive line.

29

J. Gross - A. Silatolu - R. Kalil - G. Williams* - B. Bell

Kalil being healthy will at least help put players back into their normal positions.

30

T. Smith - N. Livings - T. Frederick* - M. Bernadeau - D. Free

The Cowboys failed to properly address their biggest weakness in the off-season.

31

J. Veldheer - L. Nix*- S. Wisniewski - M. Brisel - K. Barnes

Another season and another change to their offensive line scheme.

32

K. Dunlap* - C. Rinehart* - N. Hardwick - J. Clary - D. Fluker*

Even with the additions of Fluker and Max Starks, it will be a long season for Philip Rivers.
