Hackensack, NJ (Sports Network) - New York Giants starting right tackle Kareem McKenzie was reportedly arrested for driving under the influence on Thursday night.
The Bergen Record reported Friday on the arrest. The Record, citing Little Falls Township police, said that McKenzie was pulled over at about 9:30 p.m. after he cut through a gas station. According to the Record, McKenzie took a police-administered Breathalyzer test and his blood-alcohol content was above the legal limit of .08.
A Trenton, New Jersey native, McKenzie has played all but three games for the Giants since signing with the club as a free agent prior to the 2005 season. The Penn State product in his eighth NFL season, and fourth with the Giants after spending four seasons with the New York Jets.
The 8-1 Giants host the 6-3 Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
