Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - The Cincinnati Bengals terminated the contract of running back Chris Perry, one of several roster moves by the club on Monday.

The former 2004 first-round pick of the Bengals, Perry gained 269 yards with two touchdowns on 104 carries, adding 20 catches for 71 yards over 13 games in 2008.

Over 35 games in four seasons, all with Cincy, the 27-year-old has compiled 606 rushing yards and two scores on 177 carries, along with 83 receptions for 474 yards and a pair of scores.

The club also terminated the contracts of safety Mike Doss and tight end Nate Lawrie.

Doss was signed as a free agent late last season, recording one tackle in three games. Lawrie had two catches for 11 yards in eight games last year.

Also, defensive end Eric Henderson and running back Gary Russell were waived.

Henderson picked up a pair of tackles in two games, while Russell spent the last two years with the Steelers. He was acquired off waivers on April 17.
