Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford and wide receiver Calvin Johnson are both questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams.
Stafford sat out Weeks 5 and 6 with a right knee injury and was able to further rest during the team's bye week during Week 7. He was a limited participant in practice all week.
Johnson sat out practice Wednesday but has returned on a limited basis for the past two days. He missed the Week 6 game against Green Bay with a knee injury.
"Both are progressing, and both will be game-day decisions," said Lions head coach Jim Schwartz. "Both of them have made a lot of progress over the last couple of weeks. I've said before (that) the bye (came) at a good time for us. I don't think any of them are 100 percent yet, but they're getting closer."
Defensive tackle Grady Jackson (knee), who did not practice this week, is probable, while defensive end Jason Hunter (ankle) has been ruled out.
