Berea, OH (Sports Network) - The Cleveland Browns announced several roster moves on Tuesday, including the addition of running back Thomas Clayton and wide receiver Demetrius Williams to the roster.
Clayton was claimed off waivers from New England, while Williams was a free agent signing. To make room, the Browns waived running back James Davis and wide receiver Yamon Figurs.
A former fourth-round pick by Baltimore in 2006, Williams had 44 career appearances with the Ravens, totaling 63 receptions, 1,008 yards and four touchdowns. Clayton has yet to appear in a regular season game.
Davis has 13 career rush attempts in six games with the Browns, and Figurs has five catches for 103 yards and a touchdown in parts of four seasons with Baltimore, Detroit, Tampa Bay, Oakland and Cleveland.
