Ravens, former Raiders S Huff agree to three-year deal

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The Baltimore Ravens have agreed to a three-year deal with former Oakland Raiders safety Michael Huff.

Huff played his entire seven-year with the Raiders before being released last week. The 29-year-old visited the Dallas Cowboys earlier this week.

He must pass a physical before he can sign a contract.

The Ravens announced the agreement Wednesday. Huff is expected to fill a void in the backfield for the Super Bowl champions, who previously this off-season released starting strong safety Bernard Pollard and lost free safety Ed Reed to Houston via free agency.

Huff started all 16 games for Oakland last season -- 14 at cornerback and two at free safety. He had 71 tackles and two interceptions.

The 6-foot, 210-pound Huff has 11 career interceptions and 453 tackles in 108 games.
