Affecting Their Pick?
The Kansas City Chiefs, picking first in the draft, could still move left tackle Brandon Albert to the Miami Dolphins, according to a report originally from ESPN. This potential trade could have an impact on what the Chiefs do in the Draft, as CBS Sports' Jason LaConfora reported on Twitter.
Making a Solid Pick
According to a report in the Florida Times-Union, Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan wants his team to make a solid selection with the second overall pick in the NFL Draft, not necessarily a sexy pick.
As ESPN's Adam Schefter reported earlier on Twitter, the thinking is the Jaguars will select LT Eric Fisher.
ESPN is reporting that the Oakland Raiders, who will likely have their pick of any defensive player in the draft with the third overall selection, could be zeroing in on DE/OLB Dion Jordan and DT Sharrif Floyd.
There is also talk the Raiders could be the first team to swing a trade in the draft and GM Reggie McKenzie told the Oakland Tribune that he has fielded calls for the pick.
MLive takes a look at some options the Detroit Lions could explore when picking fifth-overall in the NFL Draft, including Alabama CB Dee Milliner.
The News-Herald also takes a look at what the Lions could do in the draft, focusing on DEs Dion Jordan and Ziggy Ansah.
Looking Out For Poachers?
