Former Cleveland Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski has landed his next job.

The Indianapolis Colts announced they hired Chudzinski as a special assistant to head coach Chuck Pagano.

"Rob and I have a long professional relationship and his résumé speaks for itself," Pagano said in a statement released by the Colts. "He brings a wealth of knowledge and will be a tremendous help to our entire team moving forward. Needless to say, we're excited to have 'Chud' joining our family."

The two worked together at Miami under Butch Davis.

Chudzinski was fired by the Browns just one year into his tenure as head coach. Before that he was the offensive coordinator with the Carolina Panthers.
