Source: Raiders re-sign veteran S Woodson for another year

Charles Woodson is returning to the Oakland Raiders for another season.

According to a report from ESPN, the veteran safety has signed another one-year deal with the team Raiders, the team that drafted him, and who he returned to last year after a long stint with the Green Bay Packers.

Woodson, 37, proved to still be a capable starter last year, recording 97 tackles, two sacks, an interception, and three forced fumbles for Oakland last season.

The 16-year veteran and former Heisman Trophy winner has 1,018 career tackles, 19 sacks, and 56 interceptions.
