CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Andy Dalton has a lot more options these days.

The Cincinnati Bengals have opened up their playbook for Dalton's second season. He led them to the playoffs as a rookie quarterback last season, when everyone was learning co-ordinator Jay Gruden's new offence.

Gruden says the playbook is more advanced in training camp than it was a year ago, when Dalton and receiver A.J. Green were rookies and everyone else was learning the new system as well. That should make the offence more diverse and more difficult to prepare against.

The challenge in training camp is picking a No. 2 receiver to complement Green and figuring out how to share time at running back.

The Bengals held their second practice of training camp on Saturday.
