Rams extend DE Sims through 2015

St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - The St. Louis Rams signed defensive end Eugene Sims to a two-year contract extension on Tuesday.

Sims was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent following the 2013 season. His new contract runs through the 2015 campaign.

Originally selected by the Rams in the sixth round of the 2010 draft, Sims has recorded 47 tackles, three sacks and one interception in 38 games with St. Louis.
