49ers sign cornerback Cook to one-year deal

Santa Clara, CA - The San Francisco 49ers signed cornerback Chris Cook to a one-year contract Friday.

Cook had spent his entire four-year career in Minnesota, where he racked up 120 tackles, 13 passes defensed and one sack in 34 games, including 29 starts with the Vikings.

In 2013, the 27-year-old Virginia product posted a career-high 47 tackles while appearing in 12 games, including 11 as a starter.
