Mark Sanchez won't be out of work long.
According to a report from ESPN, the recently cut former New York Jets quarterback is expecting to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles soon.
Sanchez injured his shoulder last season and is still rehabbing; he would have to pass a physical before signing with the Eagles.
Sanchez would join Nick Foles and Matt Barkley on the Eagles' roster, and would likely compete with Barkley, a fellow USC alum and fourth-round pick last year, to back up Foles next season.
Sanchez's tumultuous tenure with the Jets ended with 12,092 passing yards and 68 touchdowns to 29 interceptions in four seasons. He missed all of last year.
