New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The National Hockey League made a pair of announcements regarding rescheduled games as a result of the massive snow levels plaguing the southern region of the Buffalo area.

The Rangers-Sabres contest originally scheduled for Friday but postponed due to the snow emergency, has been rescheduled for Feb. 20, 2015.

As a result, the Sabres-Senators contest which was slated for that date has been pushed up to Dec. 15.

Buffalo has not played since Tuesday night, claiming a 4-1 victory over San Jose, at the outset of the lake-effect precipitation which has dumped more than seven feet in spots.
