The Blackhawks are expected to stick to their Game 5 lines, when coach Joel Quenneville split up his top line of Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane and Dustin Byfuglien.
Marian Hossa was kept off the ice Tuesday before the Hawks left for Philadelphia. Quenneville said he was just resting. Hossa was a minus-3 in Game 5 and held without a point when he played on the Hawks' new top line with Toews and Tomas Kopecky. -

Coach Peter Laviolette said he was unlikely to opt for five defensemen and 13 forwards instead of the usual six defensemen and 12 forwards. That would have opened up a spot for Dan Carcillo, but he is likely to be scratched again for tonight's game.
After practicing on Tuesday, Daniel Briere reiterated that the cut below his right eye, which was caused by a high-stick from Duncan Keith in Game 5, will not affect him tonight. -
