Much-improved PK, save percentage and major contributions from newbies

B-

Dallas Stars

In one of the league's most competitive divisions, they remain competitive for a playoff spot.

B-

Winnipeg Jets

Improved their play away from the MTS Centre but have been far too hospitable at home.

C

Nashville Predators

They keep the puck out of both nets, their own and the other teams'!

Columbus Blue Jackets

San Jose Sharks

After beginning season with seven wins, they have four in last 17 games.

They were once an electrifying team with an electrifying player. The lustre is off

Buffalo Sabres

Erratic team changed their coach and like struggling teams do, they find a way to lose.

Florida Panthers

Decimated by injuries and the net effect is that there will be no return to the playoffs.
