New York Rangers

Nash has shone on Broadway but more players will need to take leading roles.

Dallas Stars

In one of the league's most competitive divisions, they remain competitive for a playoff spot.

B-

Winnipeg Jets

Improved their play away from the MTS Centre but have been far too hospitable at home.

Groundhog Day in Phoenix. They just find a way to remain competitive.

C+

Colorado Avalanche

Duchene has rebounded from injuries and is establishing himself as the Avs' next star.

New Jersey Devils

PK is near the bottom of league. Brodeur's value to this team has not diminished.

C

Nashville Predators

They keep the puck out of both nets, their own and the other teams'!

San Jose Sharks

After beginning season with seven wins, they have four in last 17 games.

Washington Capitals

They were once an electrifying team with an electrifying player. The lustre is off

Second best in goals for; fifth-worst in goals against. Numbers don't add up.

D

Buffalo Sabres

Erratic team changed their coach and like struggling teams do, they find a way to lose.

D

Florida Panthers

Decimated by injuries and the net effect is that there will be no return to the playoffs.
