Scored in his final regular season game of the year and helped by a brilliant redirect pass from brother Henrik, Daniel's goal has overwhelmingly been voted as the 2009-10 Play of the Year Showdown champion.
From Pool D straight through to the Final, where he earned a convincing win over Steven Stamkos' incredible mid-air goal, Sedin destroyed the competition and proved his goal was worthy of the title 'Play of the Year'.
