(Sports Network) - The Washington Capitals finish a four-game road trip tonight when they visit the Calgary Flames at the Saddledome.
Washington is 1-1-1 so far on the trek, including losses to Vancouver and Edmonton. On Saturday the Caps dropped a 4-0 tilt to the Oilers, as Dwayne Roloson turned aside 19 shots for his first shutout of the season to lift the hosts.
Brent Johnson, who spelled starter Olaf Kolzig, made 24 saves for the Capitals, who have lost four of their last five games overall. Washington was shut out for the first time this season.
Washington set a poor tone from the start on Saturday, getting out-shot 10-3 in the first period. The Caps' Alexander Ovechkin managed three shots in the loss, but Alexander Semin, the club's leading scorer, was shot-less.
The Capitals will host Atlanta on Friday.
Calgary, meanwhile, has lost four of its last five games. On Saturday the Flames lost a 3-2 tilt to visiting Nashville, as Jason Arnott tallied a pair of goals for the Predators.
Jarome Iginla had both goals for the Flames, while Miikka Kiprusoff made 32 saves in the loss.
Iginla has three goals and an assist in his last three games.
The Flames were without defenseman Dion Phaneuf due to the flu on Saturday, but he will likely be back in the lineup this evening.
