The NHL buyout period seems to be heating up.

Three more players have been placed on waivers Monday for the purpose of being bought out if they clear waivers tomorrow at noon, The Washington Capitals Ben Clymer and Carolina Hurricanes' Jeff Hamilton and David Tanabe.

The 30-year old Clymer spent the entire season 2007-2008 season with the Hershey Bears of the AHL where he scored 11 goals and posted 16 assists in 50 games.

Hamilton spent 58 games with the Hurricanes last season, scoring nine goals and posting 15 assists.

Tanabe, who signed a two-year contract as an unrestricted free agent only played 18 games with Carolina.  He missed the final 47 games of the regular season with a concussion.
