Mats Sundin is in no rush to decide his playing future and may not be ready to declare his intentions on Tuesday.
The Montreal Canadiens have been patiently waiting for the 37 year old to engage in contract discussions, but so far, neither multiple phone conversations and emails with Canadiens GM Bob Gainey nor daily encouragement from agents JP Barry and Claes Elefalk has resulted in Sundin's willingness to play next season.
As of Sunday night both the Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs have been told Sundin remains undecided as to whether he will play again and he will alert them when he has reached an official decision.
That could be in the next two days, the next two weeks, or the next two months.
