The Anaheim Ducks have agreed to terms on restricted free agent forward Corey Perry.

It is five-year deal worth $26.625 million and an average of $5.325 a year.

The breakdown by year is as follows: $4.5 million, $6.5 million, $5.375 million, $5.375 million and $4.875 million.

Of the more than $26 million, $8 million is in signing bonuses, including $3 million in the first year, $2.5 million in the second year and $1 million in each of the following three years.

"I really wanted to stay in Anaheim, it's a great place to play hockey," Perry said during a conference call. "At the end of the day, it's the same deal (as Getzlaf) and it was just nice to get it over and done with pretty quick."

"Corey is one of the top young players in the NHL today," said Anaheim general manager Brian Burke. "He's a true Duck, a hard-nosed goal-scorer who's difficult to play against."

Perry led the Ducks with 29 goals last season and finished second to Ryan Getzlaf in team scoring with 54 points while picking up 108 minutes in penalties.  He missed the last 12 games of the season and the first three of the playoffs recovering from a lacerated calf.

In 208 career games, the Peterborough, Ontario native has 59 goals and 64 assists.
