The Vancouver Canucks have officially signed forward Ryan Johnson and have re-signed goaltender Curtis Sanford.

The team did not disclose terms, but according to sports radio station Team 1040, the Canucks inked the 10-year veteran Johnson to a two-year, $2.4 million contract.

Johnson spent the past six seasons with the St. Louis Blues after being claimed off waivers from the Florida Panthers, the team that drafted him.

In 79 games played last season, the Thunder Bay, Ontario native tallied five goals and 13 assists with a minus 2 rating.

Sanford, 28, played in 16 games last season posting a record of 4-3-1 and a 2.83 GAA. In 89 career NHL games, Sanford has a 30-29-11 record with a 2.80 GAA and a Save Percentage of .900.
