Coyotes sign McGrattan to one-year contract

The Phoenix Coyotes signed forward Brian McGrattan to a one-year contract on Thursday, financial terms were not disclosed.

The 26-year-old was acquired in a trade with the Ottawa Senators back on June 25th of this year for a fifth round pick in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

Last season with Ottawa, McGrattan had three assists with 46 minutes in penalties over his 38 games.

McGrattan was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings (fourth round, 104th overall) in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.
