Senators sign Mauldin to one-year, two-way contract

The Ottawa Senators signed forward Greg Mauldin to a one-year, two-way contract on Monday.

Mauldin, 26, played last season with Ottawa's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. In 71 games, he scored 15 goals and added 18 assists for 33 points while recording 37 penalty minutes.

A seventh-round choice (199th overall) by the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2002, the Holliston, Mass., native made his NHL debut during the 2003-04 season. In 206 career AHL games, he has scored 35 goals and 58 assists while collecting 139 penalty minutes.
