After being traded twice in two summers, Joffrey Lupul won't be moving this offseason as the young winger agreed to terms on a four-year extension with the Philadelphia Flyers.

Lupul will earn $2.9 million in 2008-09, then $4.25 million in each of the four years of the extension. Last season, Lupul scored 20 goals and added 26 assists for 46 points in 56 games with the Flyers. He added four goals and six assists in 17 playoff games.

After a successful junior career with the Medicine Hat Tigers, Lupul was drafted seventh overall by the Anaheim Ducks in 2002.

In two full seasons with Anaheim, the Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta native amassed 41 goals and 87 points. During the lock-out season, he scored 30 goals with Cincinnati of the American Hockey League.

Following the 2005-06 campaign, Lupul was dealt to the Edmonton Oilers in the Chris Pronger trade. The 24-year-old struggled in the Alberta capital with just 28 points in 81 games and a -29 rating.

That led to another trade, this time to the Flyers along with blueliner Jason Smith. Defenceman Joni Pitkanen and veteran Geoff Sanderson were sent to the Oilers.
