According to a report on RDS, Mats Sundin will make a decision on his future on Aug. 1.
At that time the former captain of the Maple Leafs will make a decision as to whether he will play this upcoming season or simply retire.
This comes on the heels of Sundin shooting down a report in a Swedish newspaper that stated that he had decided to accept a $20 million, two-year deal from the Vancouver Canucks.
Despite the rumours continuing to swirl, Sundin has repeatedly stated that he has yet to make a decision and several teams, including the Maple Leafs, remain in the mix.
The 37-year old Sundin is coming off a very productive campaign with the Leafs, recording 32 goals and 78 points in 74 games.
