It's all in a day's work for Sidney Crosby, as returning guest host Jay Onrait tries to ice the Pittsburgh Penguins captain with his hard-hitting questions on TSN's daily talk show Off The Record, Wednesday at 6pm et on TSN and 6pm PT on TSN2.
Sid the Kid will be featured in two segments: Up Front, for the five-minute one-on-one interview at the top of the show; and Next Question, for the entertaining, rapid-fire line of sports and non-sports related questioning at the conclusion of the program.
Onrait will focus on Crosby's recent European road trip, which saw the Penguins split a season-opening two-game series with the Ottawa Senators in Stockholm, Sweden, as well as Crosby's own goals and predictions for the 2008-09 NHL season. Onrait will also ask Crosby for his thoughts on the Penguins' off-season roster moves, which included the arrival of unrestricted free agent Miroslav Satan and the departure of forward Marion Hossa to the Stanley Cup champion Detroit Red Wings.
Wednesday's episode marks only the 18th time Michael Landsberg has not been in the host's chair in Off The Record's 12-year run of nearly 2,600 episodes. Over the years, TSN personalities James Duthie and Jennifer Hedger - along with Onrait - have hosted, as well as Toronto Argonauts CEO Mike 'Pinball' Clemons, former WWE Superstar Chris Jericho and Montreal Canadiens enforcer Georges Laraque.
