Islanders to start season with Josh Bailey on roster

Josh Bailey, the ninth overall pick in this year's draft, will start the season on the roster of the New York Islanders.

The Islanders intend to evaluate Bailey in the early going and decide whether he should be returned to the Windsor Spitfires before he plays his 10th NHL regular season game.

But when the Islanders submit their 23-man roster on Wednesday, Bailey is expected to be on it.
