Is Marian Gaborik hurting again?
The Minnesota Wild's all-time leading scorer was the first player to come off the ice at practice on Friday, and told the Star-Tribune that he felt "some discomfort". The 26-year-old did add that he was planning on playing in Friday's game against the Islanders.
On December 17, Gaborik suited up for the Wild for the first time since October 14 after missing 27 games with a lower-body injury.
Now, just two days later, concerns have surfaced over the readiness of the injury-prone forward.
"We'll see Gabby's situation tonight," assistant coach Mario Tremblay said.
Gaborik had a goal and an assist in his return to the Wild on Wednesday, a 3-2 loss to Calgary.
