Sharks recall Staubitz, assign Joslin to Worcester of AHL

SAN JOSE, Calif. - San Jose Sharks announced Wednesday the team has recalled Brad Staubitz from the AHL's Worcester Sharks.

The team also reassigned defenceman Derek Joslin to Worcester. Staubitz has played in 15 games with the Sharks this season, recording a goal and two assists to go along with 42 penalty minutes.

The Edmonton native scored his first NHL goal, a game-winner against Oilers, on Jan. 9.

In 33 games with Worcester, Staubitz has five assists and 84 penalty minutes.

Joslin has played in 11 games with San Jose this season.
