Erik Christensen is on the move for the second straight NHL trade deadline as the Atlanta Thrashers have shipped the Edmonton native to the Anaheim Ducks.
In return the Thrashers will receive prospect Eric O'Dell.
The 25-year old Christensen was involved in the biggest deal of last year's trade deadline as he was packaged, along with Colby Armstrong, Angelo Esposito and a first round draft pick by the Pittsburgh Penguins to the Thrashers for Marian Hossa and Pascal Dupuis.
In 47 games this season, Christensen has 15 goals and 14 assists. He was a third round selection, 69th overall by the Penguins in the 2002 NHL Entry draft.
O'Dell was a second round pick, 39th overall in the 2008 draft by the Ducks. He is currently playing with the Sudbury Wolves of the OHL.
