Veteran forward Paul Kariya returned from a rehab stint for his surgically repaired hip in Colorado last night but will not play tonight when the St. Louis Blues host the Vancouver Canucks in Game 3, according to sources.

Kariya looked healthy during the morning skate with the team today and, when asked if he would play tonight, he responded, 'We'll see.'

But he remained out on the ice well after the rest of the team left, and sources told TSN Kariya would definitely not play in the game.

Kariya has been sidelined with a hip injury since early November and underwent two surgical procedures in January and February.

The Blues trail the Canucks 2-0 in the series. Game 4 slated for Tuesday.
