ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks re-signed centre Erik Christensen to a one-year deal ahead of free agency, the team announced early Wednesday.

Terms were not disclosed.

Anaheim acquired Christensen from the Atlanta Thrashers at the March 4 trade deadline. The 25-year-old Edmonton native had seven goals and 21 assists last season.

Christensen was set to become an unrestricted free agent later Wednesday.
