NEW YORK - Tyler Arnason signed a two-way contract with the New York Rangers on Friday.

The 30-year-old spent last season with the Colorado Avalanche, scoring five goals and 22 points in 71 games.

He joins his fourth NHL team after stops in Chicago, Ottawa and Colorado. In 487 career games, Arnason has 88 goals and 245 points.

The Blackhawks selected him in the seventh round of the 1998 draft.

Also Friday, the Rangers announced that they had signed free-agent forwards Corey Locke and P.A. Parenteau.

Locke is a former Canadian Hockey League player of the year who has appeared in one career NHL game -- with the Montreal Canadiens in 2007-08. Parenteau suited up in five NHL games with the Blackhawks in 2006-07.
