The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced the re-signing of restricted free agent forwards Darryl Boyce to a two-year contract and Alex Foster to a one-year contract.
Boyce, a 25-year-old native of Summerside, Prince Edward Island, registered 30 points on 12 goals and 18 assists in 73 games played for the Toronto Marlies this past season. The 6-0, 200-pound forward joined the Leafs' organization as a free agent on January 1, 2008.
Foster, 24, played in all 80 games for the Marlies in 2008-09, and he collected 12 goals and 23 assists, along with 88 minutes in penalties. The Canton, Michigan native originally signed as a free agent with the Maple Leafs on March 8, 2006.
