The St. Louis Blues have added another piece to their blueline as the team announced the signing of Brendan Bell Friday.

Terms of the deal were not released.

The 26-year old Bell spent last season with the Ottawa Senators, picking up six goals and 15 assists in 53 games.  In 101 career games the Ottawa native has seven goals and 21 assists.

Bell was originally selected in the third round, 65th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
