Grier, Sabres agree on one-year contract

Buffalo, NY (Sports Network) - The Buffalo Sabres and free agent forward Mike Grier agreed to a one-year contract on Monday.

Grier spent the past three seasons in San Jose, where last year the 6-foot-1, 225-pound winger netted 10 goals and added 13 assists.

The 34-year-old played for Buffalo in parts of the two seasons prior and has also made stints in Washington and Edmonton, compiling 147 goals and 198 assists for his career.
