Veteran Parrish lands tryout with Canucks

The Vancouver Canucks have agreed to give veteran forward Mark Parrish a tryout.

Parrish's agent Ben Hankinson released the news via Twitter on Friday afternoon. 

The 32-year-old Parrish has 216 goals with 169 assists over 702 career NHL games. He has scored at least 20 goals on six separate occasions.

He was drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in the 3rd round (79th overall) of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft and has played for the Florida Panthers, New York Islanders, Los Angeles Kings, Minnesota Wild and Dallas Stars over his career.
