Edmonton winger Mike Comrie is the latest Oiler to be sidelined.
Comrie was a late scratch in Wednesday's 6-4 victory over the visiting Avalanche, as the Edmonton native continues to battle mononucleosis.
There is no word on his status for Saturday's contest against the Blackhawks.
Without Comrie, the Oilers played one forward short in Wednesday's win, double-shifting players with Sam Gagner and Andrew Cogliano.
The Oilers lead the league in man-games lost to injuries, now at 121.
