The Phoenix Coyotes will be without defenceman Ed Jovanovski for the next two games, as he's been suspended by the National Hockey League.
Jovanovski was suspended for hitting Minnesota Wild forward Andrew Ebbett in the head with his forearm at 9:34 of the third period Phoenix's 2-0 win on Monday night.
The suspension comes despite the fact that no penalty was called on the play.
Jovanovski will be eligible to return to the lineup on Dec. 14 in Detroit.
