Boston, MA (Sports Network) - Boston Bruins forward Milan Lucic was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
Lucic, who is expected to be sidelined for about four weeks because of a high left ankle sprain, has been out of action since November 25 with the injury.
Lucic, who signed a three-year contract extension this past offseason, has two goals and three assists in 10 games this season. He had missed 14 games earlier in the season with a fractured finger that required surgery in mid- October.
To fill roster spots, the Bruins recalled forward Andy Wozniewski and defenseman Adam McQuaid from Providence of the AHL.
