Sources tell TSN Edmonton Oilers general manager Steve Tambellini has a list of at least six teams Sheldon Souray would waive his no-trade clause to join, assuming one of these teams is willing to accept the gamble presented in Souray's surgically-repaired hand.

Anaheim, Dallas and the Los Angeles Kings are listed as the three Western Conference teams on Souray's wish list, while somewhat surprisingly, the Eastern Conference is well represented as well in Washington, Philadelphia and the New York Rangers.

It's believed Souray, who had surgery on Tuesday to correct the damage sustained in a fight with Calgary Flames captain Jarome Iginla on Saturday, has every intention of returning to the ice before the end of the regular season and expects to be playoff-ready.

Souray is among several Edmonton players who remain on the trade market, but team sources say it's doubtful a deal will be made before the February 12th roster freeze.
