Columbus Blue Jackets' sniper and Olympic gold medallist Rick Nash left Monday's game against the Los Angeles Kings with what the team is describing as a 'lower-body' injury.

Nash appeared to suffer the injury with just over a minute remaining in the first period when he took a small hit from Jarret Stoll and then appeared to absorb a slash by Kings' forward Jeff Halpern.

Nash is leading the Jackets in virtually all offensive categories.  He has 28 goals and 29 assists in 65 games this season coming into action on Tuesday.
