The Phoenix Coyotes have re-signed forward Paul Bissonnette to a two-year contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"We are very pleased to sign Paul to a new contract," said Coyotes' general manager Don Maloney in a statement. "He is a tough, hard-working player who has contributed to our team in a variety of ways this season."
The 25-year old Bissonnette has three goals and two assists in 40 games this season while leading the Coyotes with 112 penalty minutes.
Bissonnette, who was claimed off waivers by the Coyotes on Sept. 30, 2009, was originally selected by Pittsburgh in the fourth round (121st overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
