The Vancouver Canucks made it official today as they announced the signing of free agent goaltender Eddie Lack.

The 22-year old Lack played for Brynas of the Swedish Elite League this past season posting a 2.67 Goals-Against-Average and a .911 Save Percentage with a record of 5-7-1 while backing up the league's best goalie in Jacob Markstrom.

The Lack signing gives the Canucks a fifth netminder prospect, joining Joe Cannata (6th Round, 173rd pick, in 2009), Morgan Clark (7th round, 191st overall, in 2008), Cory Schneider (1st round, 26th overall, in 2004) and Lukas Mensator (3rd round, 83rd overall, in 2002).
