Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - The Atlanta Thrashers agreed to terms on a contract with unrestricted free agent forward Jim Slater on Tuesday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, per club policy.
The 27-year-old posted 11 goals and 18 points over 61 games for the Thrashers last season.
Over his five-year NHL career, all with Atlanta, the Michigan native and former first-round pick in 2002 has racked up 42 goals and 88 points over 335 contests.
