The Calgary Flames traded forward Jason Jaffray to the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday in exchange for forward Logan MacMillan. The deal also included a conditional seventh-round pick in the 2013 draft the could be awarded to either team.

Jaffray played 72 games last season for the AHL's Abbotsford Heat, where he led the team in scoring with 25 goals and 29 assists. The 29-year old native of Rimbey, Alberta also played three NHL contests for the Flames, but did not register a point.

Jaffray appeared in 33 games over the two prior seasons with the Vancouver Canucks.

MacMillan, 20, split his 2009-10 season between the Bakersfield Condors (ECHL) and Abbotsford and had a total of two goals and four assists.

He was Anaheim's first round pick (19th overall) in the 2007 draft.
